Tyla Abercrumbie

Tyla Abercrumbie is an American actress, writer, and director recognized for her extensive work in television, film, and theater. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Nina Williams in the Showtime series "The Chi."

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Abercrumbie studied drama at Columbia College Chicago. Her television career includes appearances in series such as "Utopia," "Proven Innocent," "Chicago Med," "Chicago P.D.," "Empire," "Easy," "Shrink," "The Chicago Code," "Shameless," "NCIS: Origins," and "Private Practice."
