Whether the #MomTok swinging scandal or the elusive “Mormon” label lured you in, there’s no denying that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has become a massive hit. The show follows friends all tackling to live in the modern world while abiding, and often bending, the rules of the Church of the Latter-day Saints.

Taylor Frankie Paul, Jennifer Affleck, and Co. have been doing a terrific job of presenting themselves in a dramatic yet fun way. Not quite Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but Hulu’s Mormon Wives still brings the drama with frenemies, dirty sodas, and relationship troubles.

Between the fallout of Taylor’s arrest and surprise pregnancy, Whitney Leavitt and Taylor vying for the #MomTok throne, and a Chippendales adventure, Mormon Wives is delivering reality TV gold. So, what’s the latest on Season 2? Here’s what we know so far.

Is there going to be a Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?

Rejoice, MomTok fans. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will return for Season 2. Hulu announced the show’s renewal on October 3. The reality series got the green light for 20 new episodes, which could also include a third season, according to Variety.

Released on September 6, 2024, it didn’t take long for Season 1 to become the most-watched show on Hulu in the U.S. Furthermore, previous fans and new watchers alike have been posting their thoughts all over social media, making this an interactive adventure for all who like this kind of entertainment.

“Finally started the secret lives of mormon wives and would just like to thank the state of utah for consistently delivering deliciously unhinged content,” fan @alexaakriistine wrote on X. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp wrote on Instagram that she’s “obsessed” with the show. It’s clear everyone wants more episodes ASAP.

When will The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 premiere?

Season 2 premieres on Thursday, May 15, 2025, on Hulu. All ten episodes of the second season will drop in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally.

Which cast members will return for Season 2?

The confirmed cast members for Season 2 are Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt, and the newest addition Miranda McWhorter.

Whitney, who is supposedly friends with most of the others again after a feud on the show but has seemingly left #MomTok, was initially cryptic about her future with the show. “I think my best answer to that question is I want to wait to see it,” she told Page Six, noting that she hadn’t watched Season 1 just yet. “I want to wait to see what was really said, what was really done. It’s kind of hard to make that decision when I have no idea.”

In a another interview, Whitney alluded to her return to the show. “What I really learned from this last season is I just wanna let go of what I can’t control,” she said during her Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe interview. “I can’t control what other women are gonna say or do or whatever, but, like, I control what I can control and I also don’t wanna take things as personally as I did in the first season.”

Meanwhile, with Jennifer and her husband, Zac Affleck, moving to New York City for medical school, it was initially unclear if the Afflecks would be back full time. Jennifer previously gave a cryptic answer about a second season and hinted she’d return. “You’ll just have to wait for Season 2 to see what happens,” Jennifer Us Weekly, teasing her return to the show.

Is there a Season 2 trailer?

Hulu released the Season 2 trailer at Disney Entertainment Television’s “Get Real” unscripted showcase in Beverly Hills, California, on April 22, 2025.

The trailer began with the ladies reflecting on how much their lives had changed since Season 1 blew up and #MomTok went even more viral. It seems like a majority of the season will focus on Whitney trying to reenter #MomTok and salvage her friendships with the other women.

“I think everybody just needs to get the freaking stick out of their ass,” she says at one point. Miranda then makes her debut and declares, “I’m going to set the record straight on the swinging scandal.” She later insists, “No one had sex, ever, period.”

Meanwhile, Taylor says that things are “getting worse” in her relationship with Dakota Mortensen, adding, “I do worry about Dakota’s sobriety.” Jen also admits, “Things with Zac and I have been pretty rocky.” Watch the full video above!
