Raising a kid on your own is hard enough. In Netflix’s new series about superpowers, a mother learns just how hard it is to raise a kid who has abilities on her own.
Nicole’s (Alisha Wainwright) husband, Mark (Michael B. Jordan), tells her their kid is “something special.” But after Mark’s death, she realizes just how special Dion (Ja’Siah Young) is when he begins to manifest several, mysterious, superhero-like abilities. As the Raising Dion trailer shows, at least one of those powers comes at a time he needs it the most.
Mark’s best friend, Pat (Jason Ritter), helps her keep Dion’s gifts a secret and him safe from those out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities. Watch the trailer below for a look at what he can do and the trouble heading his way.
